Thanks to those of you who attended the Thursday, October 13th Tri-Valley@ a Crossroads Candidate Forum at the Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center.  We were pleased by a turnout of approximately 300 attendees at our first forum.  The enthusiastic support shown by the community seeking information about local candidates, their voting records and their positions on the issues such as rapid growth in the tri-valley was rewarding.

The forum was co-sponsored by Friends of Livermore and Dubliners for Change - local citizen groups concerned with maintaining the quality of life in the valley.

All the candidates were invited and encouraged to attend.  Five city council/mayoral candidates attended from Dublin and all six of the city council candidates from Livermore attended.  City Council and Mayoral candidates, Karla Brown and Julie Testa attended from Pleasanton.    Candidates who attended had the opportunity to answer questions and provide their views about ways to maintain and improve our communities.
