Learn about Pleasanton's nomination process, conflict-of-interest and campaign reporting requirements, campaign sign ordinance, and important deadlines at an informational meeting for prospective candidates, campaign managers, treasurers, and others on Thursday, June 14, 2018.


The Pleasanton City Clerk will conduct the meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public Library, located at 400 Old Bernal Avenue.
 
Two Pleasanton city council seats and the position of mayor will be open in the general municipal election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Two Ways to Get Involved in the Future of Pleasanton

 Attend a Community Town Hall Meeting held in Pleasanton and hosted by Assemblywoman Catharine Baker, who will be joined by Senator Steve Glaser.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear about the 2018 state legislature proposals that would affect our region.

Apply to become a member of a City commission. In April and September of each year, the Mayor and City Council recruit and appoint Pleasanton residents to a variety of boards and commissions that contribute to and influence decisions affecting the city.
